Adam and Eve painting by Julius Paulsen (1860-1940)
Large oil on canvas depicting Adam and Eve by well-known Danish Artist Julius Paulsen, signed and dated 1907, featured in the book Ordrupgaard 2002 published for the Julius Paulsen exhibition. A similar Adam and Eve by Paulsen hangs in the Statens Museum fra Kunst in Copenhagen. Paulsen was one of the earlier Danes to try impressionistic techniques contrary to the ‘golden age’ artists.

This is a large painting measuring 85″ x 68″ (98 x 80 with frame).
