Carl Fischer b 1887 Studied under Viggo Johansen at the Copenhagen Art Academy Travelled in Norway, Sweden, Germany, Holland and
France. Exhibited at Charlottenborg in Copenhagen 1912-1939. Carl Fischer is a figure painter, who painted characteristic portraits of women seated in interiors, but also painted flowers and street scenes. He is noted for his refined colors and under- lying cubist motifs. Inside measures 22″ x 20″
